MERIMASKU Merimasku is a municipality in the inner archipelago with about 1400 inhabitants, and which has good land connections to Naantali and Turku over the splendid Särkänsalmi bridge. Boat people are served by a guest harbour on Kirkonsalmi. Bicyclists also have good roads in Merimasku with short distances and plenty to see as well as bike rentals. Abundant berries and mushrooms in the forest are an attraction in the autumn. There are swimming places at Apajanranta and Sannainen. Interesting places to go to and see in Merimasku are the several ancient burial mounds, and the belts of blue mussels along the shores. There is plenty to look at and to try out in Merimasku.
