The eastern route - Kimito islands

For visitors travelling by car of bus, there are three ways to get to the eastern part of the archipelago.

If you are coming from the direction of Turku via Paimio, take the route over the Pungböle bridge, from which you can admire the fine view. Visitors coming from the direction of Salo can take the ferry to Angelniemi. If you are coming from western Uusimaa via Perniö, drive via the Strömma canal, which is the only place in Finland affected by tidal forces.

Visitors coming by boat to the island of Kimito can choose their route from hundreds of alternatives. The shortest and safest routes, as well as longer and more exciting ones, can be seen from the chart of the archipelago.
